I am moving once more. The bugs, the broken toilet, the leaky sinks (x2)..it was time. I gave up 700 in security deposit for cutting out early but I really don't care. I feel like I see centipedes crawling up walls here at the office, too. I don't enjoy that.
So tonight, and most of tomorrow, I will be moving to River North, a nicer area, a safer area and from what I can tell, a much less bug infested area. Its close to the Newberry library so I can redevelop my literacy. Its also close to what is seriously known as the "spy store" which is my latest fascination...i just need a mission. This apartment is smaller but I am on the top floor, with a great view of the skyline.
Goodbye centipedes. It was fun while it lasted. Oh and did I mention the dead and decaying bird that was on the window sill last weekend? That was nice. Especially when other birds started to pick at it. That was the straw that broke the camels back.
