I had a great weekend at home, despite my three hour delay at O'Hare. By the time Lena picked me up, we just went home and my mother was actually able to stay awake to greet me and of course, try to feed me. I say the general rule with my mom is that once the clock hits the double digits in the PM, she needs to sleep. Luckily, she was able to stay awake. It was a great reunion all around.

And then when I got home I got my acceptance letter from Marquette Law. I am happy about this but a little shaken up...questions like, my apartment here in Chicago, the money I have given to JM already, and then of course, the distance between Eduardo and I (this was a big one) really weighed on my mind. Eduardo obviously wants me to go to Marquette as it's the better school but I will miss Chicago. Very much. I figure this is a good choice be/c up in Milwaukee I will know no one and have nothing to do but study, which is the objective with school. Eduardo will still come up to visit me every weekend like he does now and would do if I went to JM, but it just feels different...anyway. I am going up on Sunday to explore Milwaukee and then Monday I have my tour of the school. I have to tell them by June 1 if I am accepting their offer of admission. Fast choices.

This of course has put a pause on my big 25th birthday plans, which as of now include a dinner with Lindsay and Erick (bless their enterprising minds), but nothing else. More on that later, after this weekend...

Thats about it for now. I am really, really, really excited about the movie The Lost City with Andy Garcia (hello Cuba). I can't wait to see that.
